well.... weighed in this morning at 123 lbs even! This is my lowest weight!!! now just to keep it up. progress has slowed way down. like 0.2lbs a day or none at all, a little depressing since I'm not eating hardly at all. we have a couples wedding shower on saturday, my goal is to be 121 - 120 lbs by then. that will be super hard, but i am determined. i can totally tell a difference in my body from this time last month. i can start to see a thigh gap! which is exciting.... but wait here's the bad news.... my belly is still all marshmallowy. :( whats up with that? i have stick legs and arms now, and still a marshmallowy, gooey belly. i mean don't get me wrong, its a little smaller, my pants that were tight before and starting to become loose, but geez, when will this flab turn to FAB?! grrrrrrrrrrr. i am beginning to be doubtful that my belly will ever be flat and beautiful... esp within 41 more days. i've thought about eating somewhat normal for a few days to see if maintain, and then maybe start restricting again to restart bigger losses, but i am afraid that since i've come so far i don't wanna regain and screw it up... what's a girl to do?? oh, what to do?

Most of the people you see in photos of the ultimate stomach are tightening their abdominal muscles and an additional photo trick is to turn a little to the side as well as making the stomach concave. If you are checking your body fat percentage you will need to be below 12% before a great look appears. I try to keep it below 6%. Keep in mind that 5% and below is considered essential body fat and would require additional carbohydrates for energy since you would not have any fat for fuel. I've been down to a 3.9% and had to make sure I was consuming plenty of carbohydrates to keep my energy levels up otherwise I would fatigue easily. Keep up the good work and don't give in to frustration so you can make it to your goal! :)
ReplyDeleteWell done!! You must be thrilled :) You will get a toned belly, just do lots of sit ups and crunches :) Daily and reglar! It will happen!! Just persist xx
ReplyDeleteAdvanced Pilates worked best for me. Mat-work and Reformer on the mat exercises only. Too much resistance with added weights and your abdominal exercises can make you look bulky. Pilates will strengthen and streamline your look without the bulk.
Deletethat's good advice... they other yoga, pilates and kettlebells classes almost everyday at my gym. i am going to try to go at least 3x a week for the next 6 weeks!
